The Maputaland Conservation Discover Tour explores the Northern KwaZulu Natal Province in South Africa, an area where WWF are and have been working for many years now. We visit Africa's Oldest Game Reserve- Hluhluwe iMfolozi, the Maputaland Coast and the Pongola Game Reserve. On tour we will join researches from a number of projects whilst enjoying the protected natural areas and a variety of exciting activities. Some of the project visits include the WWF African Wild Dog Conservation and Management Programme and the WWF/ KZN Ezemvelo Black Rhino Range Expansion Project. Along the coast, we have the opportunity to do night walks in search of Loggerhead and Leatherback Turtles who venture into the dunes to lay their eggs. |
Highlights of this tour include: Exclusive access to WWF's Conservation Projects, Turtle Tracking, Big 5 Game Viewing, Snorkelling and Scuba Diving, Lake Sibaya, World Famous Game Reserves, Conservation Projects, Wildlife Photography and Cultural Visits.
