The Peregrine Falcon |
This bird of prey, the Falco peregrinus, is the fastest animal species on earth and hits speeds of well over 250 km/h! The word, Peregrination, means to travel, journey or wander, and it from this its name is derived due to the long migrations that they undertake.A prefered bird for falconry, due to their intellegence and speed, in ancient times, it was the bird of kings and lords. |

"Just to say thank you so much for a really excellent three days. The safari was just amazing - I've been looking at my pictures and can't believe how much we saw in a few hours. I haven't stopped talking about it ever since! I've attached the photo of the group but will send a few of the animals too. In addition to the tours themselves there were a couple of things that really made a difference and are the reasons I have already recommended Peregrine to a couple of people. The first was your helpfulness and flexibility in recommending an itinerary to fit with the time we had available and getting us all back to the airport in good time. The second was your obvious enjoyment of the two days we spent with you - it really makes a difference to have a guide who has a genuine interest in and passion for the places we were visiting."
